Vizor Software to Demonstrate at the 2019 Singapore FinTech Festival

Vizor, the world leader in supervisory software for financial regulators, today announced that Vizor’s Chief Innovation Officer, Joanne Horgan, will present and demonstrate new approaches to digital regulatory reporting using APIs in the Demo Stage Showcase at the Singapore FinTech Festival taking place November 11th to November 15th.

The Demo Stage Showcase will include five marquee use cases including Vizor that focus on each company’s accomplishments on APIX – a global, open-architecture platform that supports financial innovation and inclusion in ASEAN and around the world. APIX is an initiative of the ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN) a not-for-profit entity that was jointly formed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the ASEAN Bankers Association.

Vizor’s demonstration will explore how the Vizor Reporting API can:

• Leverage machine-readable data models and rules to automate regulatory reporting for central banks
• Provide validation of data as well as all calculations through to final report submission.
• Help financial institutions future-proof their solutions against future regulatory report changes.

The Singapore FinTech Festival is organised by MAS, in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore, and in collaboration with SingEx Holdings. Last year the Festival attracted 45,000 participants from 130 countries. This year’s conference will feature for the first time the theme of sustainability and cover Financial Services; Industry 4.0 – Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud and Cybersecurity; Financial Inclusion; Green Finance; and Technology Beyond Finance. The Exhibition will feature country pavilions, industry exhibitors, financial industry showcase booths, and a start-up zone.

About Joanne Horgan

Joanne Horgan has designed and delivered regulatory solutions for some of the world’s top financial regulators, working with more than 20 central banks and financial regulators worldwide. Having joined Vizor in 2003, Ms. Horgan progressed through a variety of roles and was appointed to the board of directors in 2012. Between 2013 and 2017, she took on the role of chief operating officer and now leads the product management and innovation teams in Dublin. Joanne holds a Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Limerick and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Product Management from Dublin Institute of Technology. She completed her Certificate in Financial Regulation with the National College of Ireland.
