Vizor's Ray Connolly with Central Banking's Publisher Nick Carver

On March 13th, 2019, representatives from Vizor Software, the world leader in supervisory software for central banks and financial regulators, attended the annual Central Banking Awards Gala in London, England. Now in their 6th year, the Central Banking Awards recognise outstanding performances from across the community, by both central banks and the market practitioners who support them.

The awards recognise:

  • Pioneering activities in the central banking community
  • Best practice in policy, governance, economics and management
  • Innovative and best practice in service provisions by market practitioners

In 2019, Vizor was honoured by the Central Banking Awards committee for the third consecutive year when named the ‘Data Services Provider of the Year’. This is a new category in the 2019 awards and is bestowed to a market practitioner who has helped central bank clients meet the management of their data requirements in the areas of big data, monetary policy, financial stability and/or regulatory data using cloud-based or other solutions. Capacity and streamlining, structuring and usability, and platform robustness and security were key considerations for the judges.

The award was presented to Raymond Connolly at Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square. Other recipients included the Monetary Authority of Singapore who took the prize for central bank of the year, Risk Manager winner, Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, Payments and market infrastructure development winner, Reserve Bank of Australia and Bank of Israel’s first female governor, Karnit Flug, named Governor of the Year.

In 2018 Vizor Software won ‘Technology Consultant of the Year’ and in 2017, the ‘Technology Provider of the Year – Supervision’ award. Full details of the 2019 Central Banking Awards are published on the centralbanking.com website and in Central Banking Magazine.
