Vizor has announced the 2019 Product Release of its flagship supervisory software. This major release allows financial supervisors to distribute data through new machine-to-machine interfaces (APIs). It also includes the availability of Vizor Cloud, enabling accelerated self-service implementations of new regulatory reporting requirements and processes.

The 2019 Product Release also includes significant enhancements to the Vizor Platform. New dashboards provide supervisors with earlier access to key indicators in a graphical interface. Additional self-service improvements such as upgrades to the metadata Importers allow creation the creation of, and updates to, data models using an Excel template. Support for iXBRL and further CyberSecurity features are also included.

The Central Bank of Ghana has awarded Vizor a contract to implement a fully integrated financial surveillance system. The new solution will provide a single portal to collect prudential data from banks and deposit taking institutions and manage the review and approval of license and authorisation requests from reporting entities.

The 2nd annual Financial Supervision Conference, took place 28-30 May, in Dublin and brought together 17 financial supervisors from 9 jurisdictions. Delegates attended sessions on the challenges and requirements faced by today’s supervisors and were able to share lessons with other supervisors.

On June 27th,Vizor XBRL and Data Specialist, Tom Leahy, was a featured speaker at the 10th Asia Round Table in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Leahy presented “Implementing Structured Data Collections – Lessons Learned” to an audience of regulators and policy makers.The event was organised by XBRL International and the Asian Development Bank.
