Vizor Software, an Irish developer of regulatory software, has won a contract with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

The Sydney-based body, which supervises banking, insurance and pension companies, selected Vizor software to help handle data and regulatory reporting.

Vizor’s software will be used by more than 4,500 Australian financial service entities who submit their returns to the APRA.

The software is scheduled for release in March 2020. Conor Crowley, the chief executive officer of Vizor, based in Sandyford, said that the multimillion-euro contract in Australia would help to grow the business in the region.

“This major project will be a significant reference for us globally and in the Asia Pacific region in particular,” he said. Crowley added the contract would also help grow staff numbers beyond the current 85 employees.
